About the Author

My name is Mike, although most of you know me as SpartanTau on Advanced Tau Tactica, Bell of Lost Souls, or anywhere else I post using that name instead of Mike. I am one of the Moderators at ATT, and have been since I was promoted roughly a year ago. Thankfully, those added responsibilities have not marred my feelings toward the hobby in any way.

I am also an undergraduate student at Michigan State University, studying Physics, Astrophysics, and Mathematics in the Lyman Briggs College. I also work as a Calculus Learning Assistant during the school year, which definitely helps fund this expensive hobby.

Speaking of expensive hobbies, I currently own three armies for Warhammer 40,000: an old 3rd Edition Ultramarine army (roughly 2000 points by the old codex), my 3,500+ points Tau Empire army (my main army), and my newly-inducted Imperial Guard Drop Infantry army. I also own a small Tau Air Cadre for Aeronautica Imperialis, although I haven’t yet played an actual game…

I also pride myself on being helpful and understanding, so any random questions can be directed my way. Don’t worry how weird you think they may be; my grade school math students ask much weirder ones!
